Pyrotechnician training and safety course in Oklahoma
Precision Fireworks LLC will host a 12-hour Professional Pyrotechnician Training & Safety Course on May 9, 2026, at the Niangua Community Building in Niangua, Missouri. The course is designed to meet Missouri and Oklahoma licensing requirements and runs from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with check-in from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. The registration fee is $100.
Participants will cover NFPA 1123 standards, state licensing regulations, and proper safety procedures. Classroom instruction is open to all ages, but only those 18 and older may handle fireworks.
The program also features a choreographed pyro-musical fireworks show as a hands-on learning experience. Dinner will be provided, along with a 30-minute lunch break (lunch not included). Attendees must bring required safety gear, including a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and a long-sleeve 100% cotton shirt.
