Pyrotechnician training and safety course in Missouri
Precision Fireworks LLC is offering a 12-hour Professional Pyrotechnician Training & Safety Course on May 9, 2026, at the Niangua Community Building in Niangua, Missouri. Designed to meet Missouri and Oklahoma licensing requirements, the course runs from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with registration between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m., and costs $100. Participants will learn NFPA 1123 standards, state licensing rules, and safe handling practices, with all ages welcome for classroom instruction (though attendees must be 18 or older to handle fireworks).
The training includes a choreographed pyro-musical fireworks display to complete the experience, along with a provided dinner and a 30-minute lunch break (lunch not included). Required safety gear includes a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and a long-sleeve 100% cotton shirt.
Registration is available via email, and the fee may be reimbursed for those who shoot a show for Precision Fireworks in 2026.
